“Hello world!” is what WordPress automatically names each first test post on a new blog, and I couldn’t think of a better name to start this new blog. I’m planning on using this blog to tell you my friends and family about my new life as a college Freshman, beginning with this graduation picture and then my trip to Germany. I hope to take lots of pictures and share as much as I can with you. I won’t be able to post all of the pictures on this blog, however, but the link to my Flickr page is underneath the picture in this post.
To those of you who don’t know, I am planning on attending college in the fall where I will begin working for a Bachelor’s Degree in History. Right now, I don’t know much about college life, and I have no idea what to expect when I get there. I can only hope that the homework is manageable, the people are lovely, and that I will make the best of the experience.
